The faithful city standeth,
And the pillars now come forth at God’s command,
Never silent, just rejoicing,
They’re the streets of gold, He’s tried –
And now they stand!
Only speaking of the Father,
That His will be done in earth and all men see,
And His work they now shall finish,
For His glory rests upon these redeemed.
