The Scripture tells us that learning to hear God’s voice and tell the difference between His voice and all the other voices is critically important. You will practice and learn. Unlike many things you learn that you then will use from time to time, your connection to God is permanent and continuous. He’s always there. He created you to be connected to Him 24-7-365. He doesn’t want you to ever disconnect from Him. He wants to flow through you constantly in knowledge, wisdom, and love.

When you seek Jesus Christ, be very specific. You aren’t seeking a god. You are seeking the One Almighty Triune Creator God. Some people may not understand what those words mean yet, but they will understand very quickly. Evil spirits exist, and they are dangerous. On the other hand, God promises that He will give us the Holy Spirit if we ask for the Holy Spirit. He won’t give us a demon. He knows how to communicate. If we turn to Jesus, we can’t go wrong. If we don’t turn to Jesus, we can’t go right. You will not use New Age techniques. New Age techniques use relaxation exercises and mind-blanking exercises that open the door for evil spirits. That’s why you must seek Jesus Christ specifically. Without Jesus, it’s impossible to know the truth because He is the truth. Some people refuse to seek and find Jesus because they want to keep doing what they want to do. Without Jesus, they will be deceived to some extent. They will walk into darkness, and there are many levels of darkness for them to descend into. That’s one of the reasons the most important thing anyone can learn is to know Jesus Christ.

Ask God to answer these questions.

Rather than trusting the fallen human mind to try to answer important questions, ask God.

1. What changes when you hear God’s voice?
2. Why is it important for you to know the difference between God’s voice and other voices?
3. How is your connection to God different from other things you learn?
4. What does it mean for you to seek Jesus Christ specifically?
5. How can you be sure you’re not listening to evil spirits?

Bonus questions:

1. Why is it impossible for you to know the truth without Jesus?
2. What does it mean for you to stay connected to God 24-7-365 in everyday life?
3. What is meant by the One Almighty Triune Creator God?
4. Why are New Age techniques dangerous and deceptive?
5. Why is it that it’s impossible for you or anyone else to know the truth without Jesus?

1. Pray for the Lord to protect you and keep you in His presence and His presence only.
2. Direct your mind toward the Lord only.
3. Ask God what He want’s to talk about.
4. You can ask God any questions. In all of this, be led by the Holy Spirit. God promises that He will answer you if you ask Him.
5. Do not edit or change what God says even if you don’t understand it.
6. Reject the lies and receive the truth.
7. Take notes.
8. Transfer your notes to your journal without editing what God said to you.

Keep in mind that God doesn’t want you to ever disconnect from Him. He wants to flow through you constantly in knowledge, wisdom, and love.

Memory Verse Song

Memorize John 18:37 by writing a song.
“Whoever is on the side of truth listens to Me”

Make up a song melody to the words of the verse.

Record a video of yourself singing the song and post it on social media. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in this. (Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.) Take what you learned and what you produced and videotape yourself. Become a kid influencer for Christ with your own social media platform by uploading your video as God leads.
