One step in God's process to transform you

We need God. All wisdom and knowledge are hidden in Him. He leads, teaches, and corrects all who follow Him.

You are likely to have conversations with atheists and skeptics who love to argue. Christians have developed complex ways to argue using logic, science, and philosophy. Most of these methods leave God out of the conversation. Christians try to argue for God without knowing God. Often, this leads to a dry kind of Christianity that has no life. It leads to Christians occupying their minds with ungodly thinking. It’s not rational to try to fight against ungodly thinking with ungodly thinking. Why not tell the skeptic about your experience with Christ.

The skeptic loves to argue with those who leave God out, but they react when you tell them that you know Jesus Christ exists because you know Jesus. They might even stoop to ridicule, which is childish. They use silly arguments because they have no answer to your experience. If you have a friend, you can tell your friend about your experiences with Christ. Be led by the Holy Spirit. Only say what the Holy Spirit gives you to say.

God says they already know He exists, and they are without excuse. God says they don’t want Him ruling over them. Some aren’t totally hardened against God. Those who are hardened will fight the fact that nothing can be known without divine revelation. Once they realize they are limited to bare claims or logical fallacies like circular reasoning or an infinite regression of unproved proofs, they will try to say Christians are in the same boat. They will imply that you can’t know for certain God is speaking to you. Then, they will say that they are somehow immune to the weakness of the human mind. In other words, they reverse reality with no rational explanation but vehement argument. Keep in mind that many skeptics are under the control of demonic forces. Don’t be discouraged. When you face opposition or persecution, look to Jesus. He will guide your words and actions.

Ask God to answer these questions.

  1. Why do you need God?
  2. What is wisdom?
  3. Why do some people fight the fact that God is real?
  4. Why shouldn’t you tell others about God unless you know God?
  5. How do you tell someone about how Christ leads you?

Bonus questions:

  1. How can Jesus help you when you meet people who don’t believe in Him?
  2. Why is it important for you to know that all wisdom and knowledge are hidden in God?
  3. Why do skeptics get upset when you tell them about how Jesus Christ speaks to you?

SEEKING GOD

audio recording for reflection:

  1. Pray for the Lord to protect you and keep you in His presence and His presence only.
  2. Direct your mind toward the Lord only.
  3. Ask God what He want’s to talk about.
  4. You can ask God any questions. In all of this, be led by the Holy Spirit. God promises that He will answer you if you ask Him.
  5. Do not edit or change what God says even if you don’t understand it.
  6. Reject the lies and receive the truth.
  7. Take notes.
  8. Transfer your notes to your journal without editing what God said to you.

Keep in mind that God doesn’t want you to ever disconnect from Him. He wants to flow through you constantly in knowledge, wisdom, and love.

Fishbone (Cause and Effect) Diagram Exercise

Draw a cause and effect diagram that makes sense for this unit. You can read more about cause and effect diagrams in (Fishbone Diagram Info). This simple tool can help you understand how to make things work, why things aren’t working, or why things are happening in a certain way. Review the article and find the most important effect you want to look at and put that in the box on the left end of a line. From the center line, draw one branch for each cause. Think of the branches as streams feeding into the main river that leads to the effect.

Let the Holy Spirit lead you in this. (Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.) Take what you learned, your notes or what you produced and videotape yourself. Become a kid influencer for Christ with your own social media platform by uploading your video as God leads.

Learn to stand in God’s presence and hear His voice. Then teach others to do the same.
