Transformation is both a gradual process and a sudden process. If you have been walking in the Spirit as the Scripture commands, God has been working on your transformation all the while. You have been going from glory to glory to glory to glory, one step at a time. However, a day is coming when there will be a sudden change. The old rebellious fleshly nature will be gone and Christ will be fully mature in you.
- “But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
- “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.” 1 Corinthians 15:52-53
- “For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.” Romans 8:19
- “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” John 10:10
- “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
- “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23
- “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.” 1 John 5:11-12
Ask God to answer these questions.
- How can you be transformed from glory to glory?
- What is the sudden change called “the manifestation of the sons of God” that will happen in the future?
- Why will your old rebellious nature be gone one day?
- What does it mean for you to be changed in the twinkling of an eye?
- What are the sons of God waiting for?
Bonus questions:
- What does it mean to have life more abundantly?
- What does it mean to have eternal life through Jesus Christ?
Keep in mind that God doesn’t want you to ever disconnect from Him. He wants to flow through you constantly in knowledge, wisdom, and love.
SEEKING GOD
audio recording for reflection: |
- Pray for the Lord to protect you and keep you in His presence and His presence only.

- Do not edit or change what God says even if you don’t understand it.
- Reject the lies and receive the truth.
- Take notes.
- Transfer your notes to your journal without editing what God said to you.
Keep in mind that God doesn’t want you to ever disconnect from Him. He wants to flow through you constantly in knowledge, wisdom, and love.
Flow Chart Exercise
Create a flow chart suitable for this unit. (Flow Charting Info) Flow charts show the flow of a process. The first thing that happens is usually at the top. That is followed by the second thing, then the third, fourth, and so on. Let the Holy Spirit lead you in this. (Romans 8:14 For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.) Take what you learned, your notes or what you produced and videotape yourself. Become a kid influencer for Christ with your own social media platform by uploading your video as God leads.
