Many words once were spoken, in a far off distant land,
That have crossed the mighty oceans, and the ages they have spanned,
Well, they speak of life eternal, of salvation for all men,
God’s creation made immortal, by the Christ that dwells within.
He is Lord, over all, and He’s King upon His throne,
He’s becoming all in all, as He reigns, forevermore.
I can see the smoke arising, from the furnace of this Day,
As all our dross and tin, He’s burning, like the stubble and the hay,
But what is left is Oh, so precious, as His jewels we now become,
And we taste of His redemption, as He loses – No, Not One!
