One step in God's process to transform you

Faith comes by hearing God’s leading, teaching, or correcting voice. Faith gives you access into God’s grace. God’s grace is God’s power to do God’s work through. It’s God’s amazing power to do whatever God commanded you to do.

God will shape you into the image and likeness of Christ. He will lead you in righteousness and make you invincible to the attacks of the enemy if you continue in God’s presence. You will come in and go out for now, but God’s plan is that you come into the Holy of Holies with Him and never go out again. He wants you to flow in His love, wisdom, and knowledge, which are only available in Him.

You are not going it along. Go in the strength of the body of Christ. Discern Christ’s body. If you don’t regularly attend a church, ask God to lead you to one. Don’t rush out and join a church. Don’t pay attention to religious marketing campaigns. Read 1 Corinthians 14 to see what a church service should look at and you won’t be impressed with the entertainment churches. Consider a home church. See if God is leading you to start a church in your home but be careful of preacher’s itch. It happens easily. Pride creeps in. Much of what we call “church” is centered on human traditions rather than the command of God. Ask God to show you what is not in Scripture that you see in the churches. Ask God to show you what is in Scripture that is not in churches.

See Christ in your brothers and sisters. Everyone has a fleshly nature, but that is not the identity of Christ’s body. Each one is a ministry. The ministry in each one is Christ within, the hope of glory. Discern the body of Christ.

“And we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from one degree of glory to even more glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit” (2 Corinthians 3:18).

That’s the by grace through faith way.

Ask God to answer these questions.

  1. What does it mean for you to hear God speak?
  2. Why do some people think God won’t speak to them?
  3. Since all love, goodness, wisdom, and knowledge are in Christ, what happens when you don’t stay in Christ’s presence all the time?
  4. What is the most valuable thing you can do with your time?
  5. How does God shape you to be like Jesus?

Bonus questions:

  1. How can you be invincible to the enemy?
  2. Why is it important to go to church?
  3. What does it mean to see Christ in other Christians?

Seeking God about Lies and Truth about My Past

AUDIO RECORDING FOR REFLECTION:

  1. Pray for the Lord to protect you and keep you in His presence and His presence only.
  2. Direct your mind toward the Lord only.
  3. Ask God the two questions and take notes on what God says. “What lies to I believe about my past?” “What is true about my past?”
  4. Do not edit or change what God says even if you don’t understand it.
  5. Out loud, reject the lies.
  6. Out loud receive the truth.
  7. Transfer your notes to your journal without editing what God said to you.

Keep in mind that God doesn’t want you to ever disconnect from Him. He wants to flow through you constantly in knowledge, wisdom, and love. God designed you to be connected to Him. Without that constant connection, nothing works right. Learn to stand in God’s presence and hear His voice. Then teach others to do the same.
